Supply and Demand - Radio Spectrum Allocation in the Entertainment Industry

This month will see our joint meeting with IET and TCN. The speaker for the evening will discuss the allocation of wavebands for digital networks.

The wireless frequency spectrum is in short supply and management of the available spectrum for programme makers and theatre directors using wireless microphones and cameras need to employ new ideas to maximise its use. This talk describes these new techniques, including online applications methods, automated assignment tools and refining sharing criteria.
