Welcome to the BCS North Staffordshire Branch Website
May we
take this opportunity to extend our best wishes for a Happy and
Prosperous New Year, to everyone?
Thank you, one and all,
for your support during 2008; we look forward to seeing you in 2009.
Next Event.
Tuesday 13 January 2009
Our programme for 2009 will be opened by
Ian Rowley of Internet Central, a locally based Internet Service
Provider, who will talk about the "Legal aspects and responsibilities
of running an ISP".
This promises to be a fascinating insight into the world of ISPs,
provided by a particularly successful player in the field. Internet
Central is located on the outskirts of the city of Stoke on Trent, at Keele, and the local connection
should be a source of inspiration and encouragement to
regional businesses, especially with the realisation that it falls under the umbrella of the internationally
renowned parent company, Goodwin Plc which is
based in the city centre.
Please join us for what promises to be an informative evening.

Please Note
It recently came to light that a technical problem has
prevented some members from receiving branch emails and newsletters.
If you believe that you have been affected by this, and would like to
have your service reinstated, please contact our Membership Secretary,
Alan Rawson, at A.K.Rawson@bcs.org.uk
